Roles and Responsibilities

You will be part of the Front-End GUI Team within SDL Tridion Development Lab. The team is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining all SDL Tridion Front-End interfaces and GUIS that are built for the different SDL Tridion products. We deploy the best technologies around, like Advanced DHTML and JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSL, and ASP.Net AJAX, to design and develop market-leading solutions. Your key responsibilities will include the design and development of the Front-End applications and graphical user interfaces designated for use over the web.

Your tasks will be:

• Designing and developing new applications and extensions to the current applications
• Maintaining existing applications
• Reviewing peer deliverables
• Providing input to technical writers
• Assisting functional and technical testers

We are specifically looking for the following skills:

• A university or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar via work experience

• At least two years' experience with Web GUI technologies such as: AJAX, JavaScript (D)HTML, ASP(.NET),C#, VB Script and XML

• Knowledge of, and experience with, JavaScript implementation and Document Object Model of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5+, and/or Firefox 1.5+

• Preferably experience with a full product software development cycle (from requirements, design, and implementation to maintenance and support)

• Preferably knowledge of and experience with developing rich web applications

• Preferably knowledge of and experience with XML and related technologies and specs such as XSLT, XPath, DOM and XML schemas

• Ability to work individually and as part of a dedicated team, including product manager, testers and technical writers

• Flexible, enthusiastic and goal-oriented
  

Working knowledge of written and spoken English
