SDL Tridion offers ABN AMRO a solution that included integration with IBM WebSphere, PeopleSoft, Verity, and meets up with the stringent needs of the banks' own security layer, plus new and improved external online services and further develop of mobile services. ABN AMRO also uses a mass printing solution with Tridion and DOC1.

ABN AMRO is one of the largest international banks in the world. Its’ network of branches operate from more than 4,500 locations in 53 countries. AMRO's Consumer & Commercial Clients (C&CC) strategic business unit focuses on individuals and small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) requiring day-to-day banking. It offers a range of electronic banking products and needed a single, integrated content management platform for electronic delivery to individual and SME customers.

ABN AMRO was looking for a solution that included integration with IBM WebSphere, PeopleSoft, Verity, and meet up with the stringent needs of their own security layer. SDL Tridion offered all this, plus the possibility to offer new and improved external services via the internet and to further develop the bank’s mobile services.

ABN-AMRO - Print solution

ABN AMRO also has an intergrated solution with SDL Tridion and DOC1, the Group1 software for document output. The integration enables business users to create and change documents themselves. This solution fits in well with ABN AMRO’s strategy to achieve high customer satisfaction. Since all documents originate from the Content Manager of SDL Tridion, brand and messaging consistency are guaranteed.

When you print 700,000 bank statements a day it is hardly surprising if, as a bank, you mainly think in terms of bulk output. However, many other types of documents – from letters and policies to contracts and advertising brochures – are produced within ABN AMRO. About 5,000 different document types are sent to customers every day, originating from 12 business units. ABN AMRO is now delivering highly personalized letters. As it has a better overview of all messages it sends to its customers, the chances of sending unnecessary or illogical messages have been reduced. And since all documents originate from SDL Tridion, brand and messaging consistency are guaranteed.
